Week

This is a big week for Team DeBoer.

Today marks the one year anniversary of the passing of my Dad.

My Mom will officially be cancer free for an entire year this week.

Mr. DeBoer's future employment at his school is determined this week.

Cletus turns 24 weeks or 6 months this Wednesday.

I will finish painting the trim in Cletus' room this week. This will mark the first time the tape around a new window will come down, only one year after they were installed.

As if that all weren't enough, the Twins start a series against the Yankees today, AT Yankee stadium.

Sarcasm (and Celexa) keep me sane.

Lots of Oreos and deep breaths this week. When I survive, I'll regroup and reflect.

  1. Well, I suppose having all this in one week kinda frees up the other 51. In no particular order:

Hurray to your mom -- 1 year down and another 40 or 50 to go.

Missing your Dad - well, I am no help there.

Tape around the windows coming down -- I kinda liked that you had something incomplete in the house. I'll miss the tape -- post pics of the room.

Twins -- have GOT to get on a winning stretch. I purchased the MLB.audio (19.99 for an entire year) so at least I get to listen to them.

Mr. DeBoer's job -- scary world for workers...praying.

Cletus being 6 months. amazing. I think it may be time for a new cletus tummy photo...just sayin'

Oreos and deep breaths -- always good advice.

    love you bunches.
